Matching Gifts Program

Many corporations have set up Matching Gift programs for employees that have contributed to appeals like Friends of Scouting.

Here is how the program usually works. Employees submit a completed FOS card to the Circle Ten Council. Employees complete a matching gift form obtained from their personnel department and mail the completed form to the Murchison Scouting Center.

The Finance Department at the council office will process your pledge and will mail the matching gift form to your employer's benefits department or corporate headquarters. Your employer will mail a matching gift check directly back to the council office and your pledge will be increased based upon the amount of the matching gift check.

Please ask your employer if they have a matching gifts program.

MATCHING FUND AND VOLUNTEER HOUR PROGRAMS

Many corporations match or fund gifts of cash and volunteer hours to encourage employees to financially support their organizations of choice. These programs are designed to fund the corporate entities of not-for-profit organizations, such as Circle Ten Council's Friends of Scouting Program.
