Ask the Kernel:

"Is the Military Order Tax Deductible?"

According to Trail's End, "70% of the Military Product Donation goes to Local Scouting and the remaining 30% covers the cost of the Popcorn and Shipping to the men and women of the US Military. Technically, the US military is not a qualified charitable organization (501C3) but we would encourage you to consult with your local tax professional for their opinion."
