2010 Comerica Bank New Year's Parade
Celebrate New Year's Day at theComerica Bank New Year's Parade on Friday, January 1, 2010, in Downtown Dallas. As one of the largest New Year's events in the Great Southwest, the family-friendly parade attracts ten of thousands of spectators, including fans visiting North Texas for the AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic.
* Carry banner in the parade (minumum two boys per banner) Last year there were about 70 banners.
* Carry a large U.S. Flag during the parade. Last year we had 42 Eagle Scouts carry this flag.
* Set out pedestrian barricades prior to the parade. We WILL NOT have to pick up this year.
* Assist with trash container placement and pick-up following the parade.
* Volunteers to assist in other areas such as parade flow, collection of banners, directing Scouts to buses, etc.
This year the Boy Scouts of America will Celebrate 100 Years of Scouting this is a great opportunity to kick-off our celebration at the start of a new year. We hope you will be a part of the parade. Scouts and Scouters will help make this year's parade another success!
